On September 25, our journalism class went to Disneyland's Leadership Program in the Disneyland park. Walt Disney was a huge leader and Disneyland wanted to teach the young about this. We learned about the "four C's" which are courage, constancy, confidence, and curiosity. Walt Disney used all these traits when building Disneyland. Setting goals and learning to achieve our dreams were all set in this class. While roaming the park we used the setting to bond and working on teamwork. When we went on a ride called the Haunted Mansion. While on the ride we had to ask our partner questions about themselves. It was very hard to do when loud music was playing, ghost were flying everywhere, and you could barely see a thing. Our Leadership Guide brought us to the front of the line of Splash Mountain, my favorite ride, to end the class perfectly. Over all, a Friday spent well!
