One rare baby Javan rhino was caught in a video footage. There are about 60 Javan rhinos left on the earth today. The population has doubled in the last 50 years. This critical species of Indonesia's Ujung Kulon National Park have a very tiny population because of poaching and habitat loss. Vietnam poachers killed the last of their countries rhinos in 2010. The footage of the baby might give scientists hope that the rhinos are reproducing in the wild. Female rhinos usually only give birth to one calf every 3 to 5 years. Lets hope that this is a for sure sign that these extraordinary rhinos are no longer endangered.
