In the Dutch towns of Oss and Sneek, the worlds first sandcastle hotel is fully booked for the 2015 year. This unique hotel was built to be a part of the annual sand sculpture festival in Sneek, Friesland, and Brabant. The festival uses about 800,000 kilograms of sand. Your probably wondering how the hotel stay up. The hotels structure is made up of thin walls and covered inside and out of sand. The one room suites are incorporated with running water, WI-FI, windows, and electricity. The bathrooms and beds are made of traditional material. With 168$ a night this hotel will sadly close once the festival ends on October 4.
